During today's lesson we created and
presented our animated storyboards. We did this so were able to get valuable
feedback from our piers so that we could develop the storyboards to make sure
we are on target with our opening sequence.
We had positive feedback towards
our camera shots, evaluating that we had a variety of shots making a more interesting
opening sequence.
Furthermore we also had positive feedback on
our narrative of the sequence with accurate interpretations of the situation in
the sequence.
However we were then given
feedback to improve the editing as the editing was too long between transitions
loosing the tension and interest of the sequence. In contrast we were given
good feedback about how characters were introduced in the sequence i.e.
silhouettes.
To conclude the sound was positively mentioned on how it
built tension and supported the narrative of the sequence. However a key point
was raised that we had an over extended blackout killing the atmosphere of
tension which needs to be acted upon by shortening the blackout or adding
visuals earlier.
